Merrimack Police, New Hampshire State Police Investigating Incident
The state's major crime unit is gathering evidence during an investigation on Sunset Drive — which is blocked by crime scene tape.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police and New Hampshire State Police troopers blocked off a portion of Sunset Drive and are in the process of investigating some sort of incident on Friday.
The State Police Major Crime Unit truck, that is brought to the scene to assist in collecting and processing evidence, is in front of a house that is taped off with crime scene tape. About a dozen cruisers from state troopers and Merrimack police are at the scene.
State police detectives are going to nearby homes, speaking to neighbors, and gathering information. A state police K-9 unit was at the scene for a short time but has cleared the area. One engine from the Merrimack Fire Department is at the scene.

The house is located on Sunset Drive and is on the shore of Naticook Lake.
Merrimack police issued a press release Friday saying they were “conducting an investigation on Sunset Drive. Based on the investigation to date, there appears to be no danger to the public in connection with this incident.”
