Merrimack police said officers arrested Vanessa Mcninch, of Nashua, after she tried to steal more than $1,000 worth of tools.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested this week after police said she tried to steal more than $1,000 in power tools from a Merrimack business. Vanessa Mcninch, 33, was charged with theft.
Merrimack police Lieutenant Eric Marquis said officers were called to the unidentified business Tuesday after staff contact police and said Mcninch "took possession" of three Milwaukee power tool kits and a pair of shears and tried to leave without paying.
Mcninch was released on $2,500 bail pending an arraignment August 23 in Merrimack District Court.
