Merrimack Rings in the Holiday Season

Sunday afternoon was the town's annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting.

Hundreds of people lined Baboosic Lake Road and Daniel Webster Highway to watch the parade before flooding Abbie Griffin Park to watch the tree lighting and meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

During the tree lighting ceremony dancers from Belinda Bridgeman Academy of Dance and Broadway Bound Performing Art Center performed for the crowd and Mrs. Claus read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" the the boys and girls.

At the end of the event, children were able to line up for a chance to meet Santa and share their wish list with him.
