Merrimack Teen Pinned Against Tree in Trail Bike Accident
13-year-old suffered serious injuries in accident.

A young Merrimack teenager was seriously injured in a trail bike crash on Friday afternoon, according to a story in the Nashua Telegraph.
A N.H. Fish and Game officer said the very experienced 13-year-old rider was taken to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester after being treated at the scene by Merrimack Fire and Rescue personnel.
The accident occurred in the woods off Brieann Drive, between Lawrence and Bean roads where the trails experience "small terrain changes" are closely bordered by trees.
For safety reasons, riders should always ride with at least one partner, Conservation Officer Todd Szewczyk said, a valuable tip that proved important in this incident, as the teen's friend was able to call 911 when the accident occurred.
