Merrimack teens charged in 'Assassins Game'

Merrimack Police identifies two teens charged with reckless driving in connection with 'Assassins Game.'

Two Merrimack teens were charged with reckless driving after a fender-bender accident March 19 that occurred when a student tried to "tag" another with a squirt gun in a game of "Assassins."

Merrimack police identified the two as Jordan Miranda, 18, of 1 Franconia Drive, and Ethan Petroules, 17, of 4 Whitewood Drive.

According to officers responding to Franconia Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident, Miranda was attempting to leave his driveway in a 2001 Toyota Camry when a fellow Merrimack High School student standing in his driveway trying to "tag him" with a squirt gun to eliminate him in the "Assassins" game, which was being played by several members of the high school senior class.  

Police said Miranda was blocked in by a 2003 Nissan Altima, driven by Petroules, and Miranda backed up and struck the Nissan, causing damage to the driver's door and window.

The teens were issued a summons to appear in the 9th Circuit Court on April 15.
