Merrimack Woman Charged in 'Doctor Shopping' Scheme
Arrest and others a part of months-long investigation by the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics & Investigations Unit.
On Wednesday, June 19, the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics & Investigations Unit completed a several month investigation into the crimes of uttering forged prescriptions and obtaining controlled drugs by fraud. Among those arrested were:
Stephanie Mann, 37, of 153 Middlesex Road, Merrimack, on a charge ofobtaining a controlled drug by fraud “doctor shopping” in the Hillsborough County area. Mann was arrested without incident at New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks where she was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. She was ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit Court Merrimack District Division on Aug. 22.
Julie Gilbody, 47, of 11 Allds St., of Nashua, on a charge of five counts of obtaining a controlled drug by fraud. Gilbody was arrested without incident at New Hampshire State Police Troop B where she was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. She was ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit Court Nashua District Division on Aug. 7.

Susan Pignato, 50, of 1 Linden Fields Road, Exeter, on one count of obtaining a controlled drug by fraud. Pignato was arrested without incident at her residence in Exeter, New Hampshire. She was transported to the Exeter Police Department where she was processed by the New Hampshire State Police. Ms. Pignato was released on personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in the 10th Circuit Court Brentwood District Division on Aug. 2.
