Merrimack Woman Charged With Assault Saturday

A Merrimack woman was arrested Saturday evening after police were called to a Kingston Court home for a domestic disturbance.

Denise Robitaille, 55, of Kingston Court, Merrimack, was charged with domestic simple assault in the incident.

Police say they arrived at the home around 7:15 p.m. Saturday and learned that Robitaille had allegedly assaulted another member of the househould. After a short investigation, she was arrested and transported to the Merrimack Police Department.

Robitaille was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and was due in Merrimack's district court on Feb. 11 to answer to the charge.
