MES Celebrates Unveiling of Mascot Emblazoned Floor
The Monstricola Dragon was added to the floor near the entrance at Mastricola Elementary School over the summer.
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, James Mastricola Elementary School staff, students, current and former PATT (Parents And Teachers Together) board members, and the student council from the 2012-13 school year gathered at the James Mastricola Elementary School for the unveiling of the new Monstricola Dragon tile floor which was installed over the summer. Everyone in attendance played some part in helping to make this new installation happen.
Monstricola is the mascot of MES, and is a reminder to students to always follow “The Big 3” which are:
- We show respect for ourselves and others.
- We work and play safely.
- We are responsible for what we say and for what we do.
