New Hampshire Restaurant Week Starts Today

Here are 5 things you should know as you start your weekend.

1. Marathon part two. The Boston Athletic Association has announced it will extend entries to the more than 5,000 runners who were unable to complete the race due to the marathon bombing. They haven' yet determined if they will add 5,000 entries to the 27,000 to the race or if they will absorb them into the 27,000. Read more.

2. Good Eats. New Hampshire's second annual Restaurant kicks off today with fixed price lunch and dinner menus at restaurants across the Granite State. In Merrimack, check out Buckley's Great Steaks, The Homestead Restaurant and Tavern and the Common Man. Check out the full list of participating restaurants and learn more about this eight-day event. 

3. ICYMI. Check in and see what it was like to shadow the Merrimack Fire Department for a day on May, 10. Posted are a photo gallery and slide show from what turned out to be a pretty afternoon. There is also hopping from truck to truck.

4. Hunchback of Notre Dame. A reminder of Merrimack High School's theatrical presentation of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Shows are tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and can be bought at the door. Read more about the show here.
