NH Man Defecated In Car Dealership, Stole Car, Crashed: Police

Merrimack police said Christopher Rosati broke into a car dealership, defecated, stole a car and crashed into several vehicles.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Merrimack man was arrested this week after police said he broke into a car dealership, defecated, stole a car and crashed into several vehicles before fleeing the scene. Christopher Rosati, 26, was eventually tracked down and charged with a host of crimes. Police said the incident happened Monday at a car dealership on the Daniel Webster Highway.

"A subject forced entry into the building," Merrimack police Sergeant William Gudzinowicz said in a statement. "While inside the building, the suspect defecated on the floor and attempted to gain entry into the safe. The suspect then took several keys and managed to steal a vehicle that was in the lot. The suspect then struck other vehicles in the lot before fleeing."

Rosati ditched the car in Nashua, where he was arrested, police said. He was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and breach of bail. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
