Max and Tulip: They Want to Join Your Family
Meet this week's Pets of the Week from the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
Max
My owner passed away and so I’m on the lookout for a new family. I know some basic commands, and am so food motivated that I would really enjoy more training, especially if it involves treats! Speaking of, I could use an owner who would be willing to help me work off a few of the extra pounds that I’ve added on over the years. At six years old I am a fairly low-key, calm pup. I do get nervous, and would rather live in a quiet home without kids. I’ve lived with another dog though, and it might be really fun to have a canine buddy to hang out with- as long as we were on the same energy level! I need an understanding owner that will help build my self-confidence and make me feel as comfortable as possible. Once I trust you, I will bond to you forever and be the best little companion. Don’t forget, all new adopters receive a free first visit to your choice of 16 area vets.
Tulip
Hi everyone! It’s me, Tulip! I am sweet and cheerful just like my name implies, and can’t wait for you to stop by the shelter and meet me. You’ll find me hanging out in the office, and will recognize me by my big bright green eyes. I would prefer a quiet home with no kids and would love to have a big window to perch in and watch the world go by. I am on a special diet here that needs to continue in my new home, but I promise other than that I’m really pretty low maintenance! I’ll come to you for attention when I want it and will purr with appreciation. Give me a chance and come meet me at The Humane Society for Greater Nashua at 24 Ferry Road in Nashua, NH. Like all the pets at HSFN I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccines.
Looking for a way to help out? These are the top five most wanted items at the shelter this week: paper towels, IAMS canned kitten food, IAMS adult dog food, IAMS adult cat food, floor cleaner. Donations can be dropped off 24/7 in our donation shed.
