Update: Police Have Located Missing Man

Update, 9:30 a.m.: Less than 30 minutes after sending a Nixle.com alert seeking the public's assistance locating a missing elderly man, police have announced, also via Nixle, that the man has been found.

They thanked the community for their assistance in locating Ed Tierney, 84, of 86 Turkey Hill Road.

Original Story: Merrimack Police are seeking the community's assistance in locating a missing elderly man who may suffer from dementia.

Edward Tierney, 84, of 86 Turkey Hill Road, was last seen at his home at midnight Monday night old, according to a Nixle alert sent out at 9 a.m.

Tierney is described as 5'5" tall, 130 lbs, with gray hair, brown eyes and a long beard. He may be wearing khaki pants and a khaki shirt.
