Police Warning Residents to Lock Up Vehicles

Say overnight thefts from cars likely to tick up at this time of year.

The Merrimack Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicles and immediately report any suspicious activity overnight after a couple of theft reports on Friday. 

The department received reports of vehicles being entered overnight Thursday into Friday in the north end of town and small items being taken. 

With the warmer weather, police are expecting an uptick in overnight activity and will be actively patrolling.  People wishing to report suspects or activity anonymously can call the Department on the Merrimack Crimeline phone number 424-2424 or through the  web tips program link that can be found on either the Crimeline or Police Department websites.
