Reserve a Space in the Town Wide Yard Sale

Here are five things you should know as you start your Thursday.

1. Town-wide yard sale. The townwide yard sale at Watson Park is scheduled for June 22. Spaces are available to rent to come sell your own yard sale items for $15. If you are a non-profit organization, a yard sale space can be rented for $7.50 and town committees are available for free. If you are interested in renting a space for the yard sale, call the Merrimack Parks and Recreation at 882-1046.

2. ICYMI. We had a busy afternoon Wednesday with stories from Concord – a House Committee narrowly voted to recommend the Casino Bill be deemed "inexpedient to legislate" – we took a look back at what has unfolded since the Boston Marathon bombing a month ago yesterday and we had a story of a Nashua man who squirted sunscreen on a car and on the car's driver in a Merrimack road rage incident. If you you didn't visit Merrimack Patch yesterday afternoon, make sure to catch up with these stories and more today.

3. Boston Strong. FigWear in Bedford will donate profits from its embroidered BOSTON STRONG shirts and hoodies to the Richard Family Fund in Dorchester MA, that was dramatically impacted by the Marathon bombing on April 15.

5. Weather watch. It may have felt more like October than May over the last few weathers, but today, we're skipping back to more summerlike weather. According to the National Weather Service, today is likely to be sunny with a high near 81. West wind 8 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 48.
