College credits for high school students

During the summer, high school students can earn high school and college credit with Early College; a Dual Enrollment program at NCC. Early College invites high school students to take real college classes (on campus or online) along with college peers. They earn highly transferable credits on a college transcript accepted at hundreds of colleges around the country.

In the fall, high school students can choose Early College or Running Start classes; college courses taught by college credentialed high school instructors at the student’s high school.

Both Early College and Running Start classes in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and math) are eligible for the Governor’s STEM Scholarship, which grants two free STEM classes per academic year.
