Take Home Gertie or Max for an Extra Special Treat
This week's Pets of the Week from the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
Gertie
Gertie here! Are you looking for an all-around friendly kitty for your family? Well here I am! I came into the shelter as a stray so not much is known about my background, but what is known about me is that I am just the sweetest girl! I’m only 5 years old, and if you want to see my active side all you have to do is get out my favorite fleece toy and watch me go! I really do have it all- I enjoy giving and getting affection, don’t mind being held, and will purr with appreciation when I’m happiest. Come meet me today to see how wonderful I am and you might even hear my sweet purr if you give me chin scratches! Learn more about me at www.hsfn.org. Like all the pets at HSFN I am spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccines.
Max
Hi everyone, it’s me, Max! I’m an extra-large pup with a bigger than life personality who is looking for an experienced owner to go on adventures with me. I’m only 5 years old and lived with one family my whole life. At my old home I had plenty of room to run around in my fenced in yard, and would really like that in my new house- especially since I tug a bit on the leash during walks. At 5 years old I know what I like, and I really tend to pick out my people who are my favorites. Once I’ve picked you though, I’m a loyal companion for life and absolutely love getting attention from you. Due to my size it would be best for me to live in a home without kids since I wouldn’t want to get too playful and knock them over. I’m a playful guy, and even know lots of commands too! If you’ve got room for me to run free at your home and in your heart for a big lovable goof-ball than I’m your guy! Don’t forget, all new adopters receive a free first visit to your choice of 16 area vets.
