Teen Charged with Marijuana Possession

Merrimack police charged two people for alleged possession at the baseball fields.

Merrimack police have arrested a 17-year-old and charged him with possession of marijuana.

Police said Jacob Tanguay, 17, of 55 Belmont Drive, Merrimack, was charged April 28 for allegedly being in possession of marijuana in a parked car at the Gibson baseball fields.

A juvenile was also placed under arrest, according to the Merrimack Police Department.

Tanguay was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and has a May 13 court date to answer to the charge. The juvenile will be processed in juvenile court.
