Teen Driver Strikes Parked Truck, Damages Shed
Police say early morning crash damaged a truck and demo shed owned by Reeds Ferry Lumber Supply.

Two teenagers were taken to the hospital for evaluation early Friday morning after the vehicle they were traveling in left the road and struck a parked truck in the parking lot at Reeds Ferry Lumber Supply.
Police say they were called to the accident at Reeds Ferry Lumber at 5:49 a.m. on Oct. 18. At the scene they found a 2003 Hyundai Accent operated by Morgan Pottier, 17, of Merrimack, had struck a 2006 Chevy pick-up truck owned by the lumber store that was parked in the parking lot.
Police say the teens were traveling south on Daniel Webster Highway when, for unknown reasons, Pottier's car left the roadway. The impact from Pottier's vehicle hitting the truck forced it into a shed that was on display in the parking lot at Reeds Ferry Lumber. The Hyundai sustained serious front end damage and the truck received damage to the driver side door and under carriage. The shed also sustained structural damage as a result of the accident.
Pottier and her passenger Kyle Mercer, 18, of Merrimack, were both transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for evaluation.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Merrimack Police Patrol Division.
