Theft, Drugs and More in June Indictments

Several Merrimack residents were indicted earlier this month.

The Hillsborough County Superior Court
south recently announced its indictments for the month of June. In
addition to Eric Cousens, Keith Burns and Kevin Hale, the following
people were also indicted by a grand jury. An indictment is not a
finding of innocence or guilt but rather a determination by the grand
jury that a case has enough evidence to move toward trial.

Michael Clark, 58, of 6 Jennifer Drive, Merrimack, was indicted on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while certified as a habitual offender. According to court documents he was found to be driving a car on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua on March 29. The charge constitutes a special felony and is punishable by up to 2 1/2-5 years in prison.

Jennifer Demers, 32, of 24 Thornton Road, Merrimack, was charged with possession of a narcotic drug, heroin, following her arrest in Nashua on May 10. Demers has previously been convicted of possession of a controlled drug in 2010 in Merrimack District Court. According to court documents, Demers' charge is an unclassified felony that carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines.

Matthew Wilusz, 29, of 40 Bedford Road, Merrimack, was indicted on on count of theft by unauthorized taking, a class A felony. According to court documents, Wilusz stole approximately 30 assorted valves and pressure vacuum breakers from P&L Landscaping, a value of more than $1,500, between Feb. 2 and 25. If Wilusz is convicted, he could face 7 ½ to 15 years in prison and up to $4,000 in fines.
