Town-Wide Paving Program Set for 2013

Approximately $800,000 has been allocated to repair roads in Merrimack.

As summer comes speeding our way, it's time for paving projects around town.

The Merrimack Public Works Department recently posted the list of roads that are a part of this year's paving program.

The budget for the 2013 program is approximately $800,000 and Continental Paving, Inc. of Londonderry will be the contractor.

This year's program will consist of paving and miscellaneous work on the following streets:

  • Patten Road
  • Turkey Hill Road (Amherst Road to West Chamberlain Road)
  • Wilson Hill Road (No. 130 to Amherst town line)
  • Henry Clay Drive
  • John Tyler Road
  • Drouin Way
  • Sunset Drive
  • Leblanc Lane
  • Dawn Avenue
  • Davidson Avenue
  • Piedmont Avenue
  • Riverside Drive
  • Lester Road (50-foot approach to Amherst Road)
  • Tomasian Drive (50-foot approach to Amherst Road)
  • Fuller Mill Road (50-foot approach to Amherst Road)
  • Horse Hill Nature Preserve Lot (Approach to Amherst Road)

Work is scheduled to be completed by September 15.
