Vaillancourt Endorses Barnes for School Board

To the Editor:

It is my great pleasure to write in support of Shannon Barnes’ bid for re-election to the Merrimack School Board.

These last three years, Shannon has proven herself to be a valuable member of the Merrimack School Board. She comes to every meeting prepared and is diligent when performing the work required of her committee assignments.

While always respectful, Shannon is not afraid to ask difficult questions. She clearly takes her responsibility to students very seriously. She makes decisions and votes on issues while striking the necessary balance between fiscal responsibility and quality education.

What is most impressive is how receptive and responsive Shannon is to parents' concerns. As the parent of two children herself, Shannon understands that clear lines of communication with families are critical to the success of our kids and their education.

The Town of Merrimack is fortunate to have a Board member that is willing to put so much time and energy in to supporting our School District. Please join me in voting for Shannon Barnes on Tuesday, April 9.
