Vehicle Rolls Crashes, Rolls On Everett Turnpike In Merrimack
One woman was injured after she left the turnpike and crashed into trees. Firefighters used extrication tools to remove her on Monday.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack fire, police, and New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of a vehicle that had left the southbound side of the Everett Turnpike and rolled over on Monday.
Responders arrived at the accident about one mile south of Exit 12 at 9:30 a.m. and found a woman with injuries trapped in the vehicle. The fire department began extrication of the only person in the vehicle. Firefighters used extrication tools and removed the hood of the vehicle and the front windshield to gain access to the patient, who was conscious and speaking to personnel.
The woman was removed from the vehicle and transported to a Nashua hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The right lane of the turnpike was closed for about one hour as the police, fire, and EMS worked at the scene, and the tow company removed the vehicle that had an Illinois license plate.
State Police are investigating the accident. The initial information is there were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
