What's Open and Closed in Merrimack for Thanksgiving

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just two days away, but it is.

Here's a look at what is open and closed for the holiday.

Merrimack Public Library:

The library is closing early on Wednesday, at 5 p.m. It will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and re-open Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Merrimack Town Offices:

The Town Offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23. They will re-open Monday for regular hours, which can be found, by department, here.

Transfer Station:

The transfer station will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will re-open for regular hours on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Merrimack Post Office

Shaw's Supermarkets:

Need some last minute Thanksgiving items? Burn the turkey and need to start over (don't do that!), both Shaw's Supermarkets on Daniel Webster Highway and Continental Boulevard will be open for abbreviated hours from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Merrimack YMCA:

Want to get in a workout before your big meal? The Merrimack YMCA will be open from 8 a.m.-noon.

Cinemagic:

Want to catch a flick after you've had your meal. There are plenty to choose from at Cinemagic. Skip the lines and crowded theaters. Get movie listings for Thursday here.
