5 Things: Wednesday's Power Ball Numbers

Hurricane Sandy donations successfully delivered to New York.

1. Winning numbers. The questions at the forefront this morning: What were the winning Power Ball numbers Wednesday night and did anyone win? At this writing, it was not known if anyone had pulled a winning draw. But we've got your numbers. Check your ticket if you haven't already: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and the Powerball is 6.

2. Eat pizza for a good cause. Tonight, The Friends of the Merrimack Library have partnered with Papa Gino's for a fundraiser night. Eat at Papa Gino's this Thursday, Nov. 29 between 4 and 8 p.m., show this flier or mention the Library, and the Friends of the Library will receive 20 percent of your food and drink bill. Papa Gino's is at 3 Continental Blvd. in Merrimack.

3. Couple wanted in child abuse case caught. Police in Florida arrested a Plaistow couple that has been on the run for two weeks. Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow are accused endangering the welfare of a child after Linscott's toddler was severely beaten and burned Linscott's toddler before fleeing the state. They were discovered Wednesday afternoon at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. Read more here.

4. Hurricane Sandy genoristy on display. The following message was posted on P & L Landscaping's Facebook page Wednesday evening. "We succeeded with your help and generosity. The trailer was full from donations for Hurricane Sandy Victims. Eric Brand, Owner of P & L Landscaping, Steve Dube, Owner of Dube's Landscaping and Alan Ford, President of Pondview Condo Association all made the trek down to New York on 11/16 to deliver the donations." 5. Weather watch. According to the National Weather Service, today should be mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 24.
