When is Merrimack's First Day of School?

This year, students in Merrimack get a bit of a later start to school than they have become accustomed to.

While many schools around the state will begin the 2013-14 school year at the end of August, Merrimack will return to the classroom on Sept. 3.

Students will have the long Labor Day weekend before they gear up for class again this year, and kick off the term with a four-day week.

What do you think of the later start date? Are you happy to see the kids off in September versus August? Or would you prefer an earlier start?
