Woman Arrested on Stalking Charge Saturday

Weekend arrests also include drunken driving and drug possession charges.

 A Milford woman was arrested after police pulled over a car she was riding in and found her to be in violation of protective order out of Milford Court.

Cherylann McDowell, 49, of 312 Osgood Road, Milford, was charged with stalking in the early hours of Saturday morning, when the car she was riding in was stopped at 12:20 a.m.on Daniel Webster Highway near Industrial Drive.

The officer who stopped the car spoke with both occupants of the vehicle and learned McDowell had an outstanding bail order out of the Milford District Court that restrained McDowell from having contact with the operator of the vehicle. McDowell released on $ 2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack's district court today, Feb. 4, to answer to the charge.

Also arrested over the weekend were:

Stephen Larco, 35, of 40 Mountain View Court, Milford, on a charge of operating under the influence of liquor. Police say they stopped at vehicle on Continental Boulevard at 12:16 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, for motor vehicle violations and upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle, made observations of his impairment. After further investigation, Larco was arrested, police say, and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled for arraignment in Merrimack's district court on Feb. 12.

Arvid Dahlbloom,  24, of 19 Sun Valley Road, Auburn,  was charged with possession of prescription drugs, transportation of controlled drugs, and OUIL. On Feb. 2, 2011 at approximately 10:03 a.m., Merrimack Police say they received a call regarding a possible impaired driver at a local drive-through restaurant. Police responded to the area and located the vehicle on Continental Boulevard and subsequently stopped the vehicle for a yellow line violation. The driver was identified as Arvid Dahlbloom and police say they observed prescription drugs in the vehicle while they were talking to him. He was arrested for possession of prescription drugs, Alprazolam, without a prescription. Police also charged him with OUIL after the officers determined that he was too impaired to be driving. Dahlbloom was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack's District Court on Feb. 12 to answer the charges.
