Woman Charged in Flimflam Scam
Police say woman cheated Burger King worker out of money at drive-thru.

A Goffstown woman was arrested in what is called a flim flam scam, in which she allegedly tricked a fast food worker into giving her more change than she was due.
Amanda Desjardins, 31, of Goffstown, was charged with theft by deception after turning herself in on July 2.
Merrimack Police say they were called to the Burger King on Continental Boulevard on June 29 shortly before 8:30 a.m. for a woman who'd been through the drive-thru and allegedly scammed the worker out of $10 by using a flimflam scam. Desjardins left the area in her vehicle but, with the assistance of some witnesses who gave a description of the vehicle, officers were able to make contact with Desjardins.
Desjardins turned herself in at the Merrimack Police Department where she was processed and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in the Merrimack District Court on July 12, to answer to the charge.
