Woman Charged with Simple Assault After Parking Lot Incident
Merrimack police say the charge stems from an incident behind the Post Office.
Merrimack police charged a local woman with simple assault in connection with an incident behind the Merrimack Post office on March 30.
Setu Gandhi, 30, of 87 Middlesex Road, Merrimack, was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and has a court date on the charges April 1.
Police responded to the area after receiving a complaint that an assault, involving a vehicle and two people, was taking place in the vicinity.
Police said they saw a vehicle matching the description leave the parking lot and head north on Daniel Webster Highway. The other person left the scene on foot, and told officers an argument had taken place, and Gandhi was accused of causing facial and neck abrasions, according to police.
