Accident remains under investigation

A local woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a motor vehicle accident over the weekend in which she became entrapped in her car.
Judith May, 66, of Merrimack, had to be extricated from her 2000 Saturn LS on Sunday after her car apparently drifted off the road in the area of 40 Continental Boulevard and struck several trees.
Police say they arrived with Merrimack Fire and Rescue personnel on the scene of the accident at 11:46 p.m. on July 21 and found May trapped inside her vehicle, which had sustained significant damage in the accident. She was transported to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by members of the Merrimack Patrol Division.
