5 Things: Google Reader Shutting Down

This way she moves in the logic of all my Patch.

1. Feed me. Google will shut down its RSS Feed service Google Reader on July 1. It allowed users to collect all of their favorite content in one place, but this is quickly becoming the job of other social media sites.

2. Lucky slopes. This weekend is looking good for skiers with a lot of hot deals abound. Bretton Woods, Waterville Valley, Attitash and Wildcat have some great $17 deals. Make sure to wear green!

3. Beefy! Like corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patrick's Day? In 2009, roughly 26.1 billion pounds of beef and 2.3 billion pounds of cabbage were produced in the United States.

4. Found the pot of gold! The Milford Recreation Department will host a Saint Patrick's Day Pot Luck Luncheon on Wednesday, March. 20 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The lunch will also include Irish dance entertainment. There is no fee, just bring an appetizer, entree or dessert to share. Pre-registration is required, so call the Milford Rec Department at 249-0625 and let them know what you will be bringing.
