Brookline Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash After Being Hit While Turning

BROOKLINE, NH — A Milford man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Route 13, according to Brookline police.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. following reports of a collision between a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Ford F-250 pickup truck. Police said the motorcyclist, identified as Joshua Christiana, 39, who was traveling south on Route 13 and attempting to turn into a driveway, was struck from behind by the pickup truck, driven by Jean-Paul Doiron, 33, of Brookline.

Doiron reportedly rendered first aid to Christiana until first responders arrived. Christiana was transported by Brookline Ambulance to a hospital in Nashua, where he was later pronounced dead. Doiron was not injured in the crash.

Route 13 was closed for several hours Tuesday night as investigators examined the scene.

This marks the 30th person killed on New Hampshire roads so far this year.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the crash remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Brookline Police Department at 603-673-3755.
