A Bucket Truck Was Heavily Damaged After It Rolled Over In Keene

The driver Wade Methe of Milford was injured but expected to recover. NHSP said the truck had a serious mechanical malfunction.

KEENE, NH - A Milford man was injured in an accident Saturday when the commercial vehicle he was driving experienced serious mechanical issues according to state police.

Fire, police, and EMS from Keene responded to Route 12 in the area of the transfer station for a single-vehicle accident involving a utility bucket truck.

A 1996 International utility bucket truck, owned by BGWN Services of Milford, New Hampshire, was traveling south on Route 12 when the vehicle experienced a serious mechanical malfunction, causing it to roll over several times before coming to rest on its side.

The operator of the vehicle, Wade Methe, age, 23 of Milford, New Hampshire was transported from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The vehicle was placed out of service due to extensive damage. An out-of-service order is given to a commercial driver or vehicle that violates a certain set of conditions with the purpose to protect the public from imminent safety hazards according to Amber Legace the public information officer for New Hampshire State Police.

State police were assisted by members of the Keene Police and Fire Departments, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and the Department of Environmental Services.

It is unknown if the driver or company faces any charges or violations.
