Election 2012: Who Won In Milford? Who Lost?

See where voters in Milford stood during Tuesday's elections.

New Hampshire polling locations saw a very high turnout this year as voters filed into their booths to cast their ballot.

Milford had almost 8,000 voters participate this year, which is about 250 more than in 2008.

These voters chose Republicans Robert F. Willette, Stephen J. Palmer and Shawn Sweeney, and Democrat Ruth Heden, as their state representatives on election day.

Left behind this time around were Republicans Stephen Palmer and Andrew Seale, alongside Democrats Roger Tilton, Andy Hughes and Herb Salmon.

On the county level, Republicans overcame their Democrat rivals in Milford, except for the Register of Probate and the Hillsborough County Attorney positions. We will have the full results of all of the county races for you tomorrow once all the votes are calculated.

The town joined the rest of New Hampshire by choosing Maggie Hassan (D) over her rival Ovide Lamontagne (R). Ann Kuster (D) may have won the Congress 2nd District seat, but Bass (R) at least took Milford.

Milford residents supported a constitutional ban to an income tax in the state, and increased legislative control over the administration of state courts
