Former Milford Woman Faces Jail Time for Murder Plot

A former Milford resident has been found guilty by a Florida jury in a murder-for-hired plot, according to the Nashua Telegraph.

Doreen Dufresne, 52, of Port Orange, Fla had tried to hire an acquaintance to kill her third husband, but he went to the police instead. She wanted him deas before he took her off of his insurance policy.

Dufresne made headlines during her time in Milford during her fight with breast cancer, car accident and the suicide of her second husband. She faces up to 30 years in prison for solicitation of first-degree murder.
