See what this local theatre group has in store next.
Milford Area Players, winner of the 2008 and 2011 New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Production in Drama/Comedy for Community Theatre have wrapped up their production of The 39 Steps at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit packed with non-stop laughs, over 150 characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of six), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!
The cast of The 39 Steps included Tim Lord of Brookline, Sarah Lord of Henniker, John Decareau of Manchester, Neal Blaiklock of Merrimack, Melanie Rodrigue of Nashua, and Sheryl Norton of Sandtown, NH. The play is directed by Larry Pizza and Kim Cassetta of Nashua.

Auditions for their Spring, 2013 production of "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" by John Bishop will be held on Nov. 14 and 15 from 7–9 p.m. in the Teen Center at the Amato Center.
This play is an ingenious and wildly comic romp which enjoyed a long and critically hailed run both on Broadway and Off-Broadway. The play pokes antic fun at the more ridiculous aspects of "show biz" and the corny thrillers of Hollywood's heyday and is a nonstop barrage of laughter as those assembled (or at least those who aren't killed off) untangle the mystery of the "Stage Door Slasher." Five men and five women will be cast for this show.
