Milford Area Youth to Perform in the Palace Theatre’s Production of The Nutcracker

Susanna Cedras and Kayley Lyttle of Milford, New Hampshire to perform in the Palace Theatre’s upcoming annual production of the timeless classic, The Nutcracker, in six upcoming performances Friday, November 23 through Sunday, November 25, 2012.

Kayley Lyttle, a sixteen-year old student attending Milford High School, will perform the roles of Dew Drop Fairy, Snow Corp, Spanish Corp, and Waltz of the Flowers in the Palace Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker. Kayley has been dancing for fourteen years, twelve years with Southern NH Dance Theater (SNHDT) under the artistic direction of Patricia Lavoie. She also attended the Burklyn Ballet Theater Summer Intensive.  Kayley has performed as Clara, Dew Drop Fairy and other various roles in The Nutcracker, a Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Soloist in Aloft choreographed by Ashley Sass and many other various roles.  

Susanna Cedras, a seventeen-year old homeschooler from Milford will perform the roles of Chinese Soloist, Snow, Harlequin Doll, Mirliton Corp and Waltz of the Flowers.  Susanna began her study of classical ballet three years ago under the artistic direction of Patricia Lavoie at SNHDT. Susanna has also studied with Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Program.  Susanna has also performed the role of Goodness Fairy in SNHDT’s production of Sleeping Beauty.  

“Kayley and Susanna are both very talented dancers.  Their talent and capabilities are a great compliment to the professional guest artists that will be performing in The Nutcracker,” stated Patricia Lavoie, artistic director, Southern NH Dance Theater.
