Milford Deliberative Session Today, Feb. 2
The first session of annual Town Meeting showcases Milford's fiscal priorities.

The Milford deliberative session starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Milford Town Hall auditorium. (The second session, voting, is March 12).
The proposed town operating budget is $12,405,693, and the default budget, should the proposed be defeated, is $12,253,710.

- a baker's dozen of zoning changes and updates.
- the proposed $286,000 construction of 1,600 feet of sidewalk along Nashua Street (which selectmen oppose).
- two replacement ambulances in a seven-year lease/purchase, with the first year authorization being $49,700.
- $28,100 for the town's share of funding to the Souhegan Valley Transportation Collaborative.
- $20,000 to support the Pumpkin Festival, including decorations and plantings.
- $20,000 to support the Milford Improvement Team.
- $24,750 to fund a Teamsters Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
