HB126 AN ACT relative to use of revolving funds by towns for maintaining recycling programs. This bill allows a town, by vote of the legislative body, to establish a revolving fund to facilitate, maintain, or encourage recycling.
HB255 AN ACT relative to the workers’ compensation law. This bill makes certain changes in the law relative to workers’ compensation including:
I. Allowing an employer or the employer’s insurance carrier or self-insurer to select a health care provider during the first 10 days of an employee’s injury.
II. Requiring pharmacies to substitute generic drugs unless the prescribing physician indicates that the brand name drug is medically necessary.
III. Establishing a 3-year pilot program in certain counties for a 90-day preferred provider network.
IV. Allowing an employer or employer’s insurance carrier or self-insurer to provide a pharmacy benefits management program.

HB506 AN ACT relative to certain time periods for adoption and amendment of town codes and ordinances. This bill extends the time permitted between the 2 public hearings required in certain towns for the adoption of codes and ordinances.
HB507 AN ACT relative to the maximum permit application fee for certain municipal dredging projects. This bill limits the maximum permit application fee for certain municipal dredging projects.

HB655 AN ACT relative to the collection of the amount of the property tax deferral for the elderly or disabled upon sale of the property. This bill requires that the amount of the tax deferral and accrued interest be paid to the municipality granting the deferral upon the sale of the property to a purchaser.
