Milford's Movie Scene Closed For Good

The store closed for good on Dec. 29.

Milford's favorite rental store is gone for good after announcing its closure in November.

Movie Scene in the Lorden Plaza officially closed on Dec. 29 due to lagging business and increased costs. Competition from digital and automatic rental services, such as Redbox, was a chief factor in the closure.

The owners sold off everything they could within the store in the days leading to the closure, including their televisions and shelves.
