Milford Students Receive Honors

• Jessica Wamala, from Milford, N.H., graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in the Honors Program during a spring commencement ceremony, held on Sunday, May 19.
• Kaitlynn Hammes graduated from Grove City College on May 18, 2013. Kaitlynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management. Kaitlynn is a 2009 graduate of Milford High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Hammes (Karen) from Milford, NH.
• Samantha Minshull of Milford, N.H., received a bachelor of arts degree in history during the commencement ceremony at Widener University on May 18. The university presented degrees to graduates from August 2012, December 2012 and May 2013 during the ceremony.
• Sarah Santiago of Milford, NH (03055), has earned a master's of educationin Psychology from Springfield College (Mass.) for studies completed in 2013.
• Eric S. MacDuff of Milford, NH, received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree from Western New England University on May 18, 2013.
• Cazenovia College, an undergraduate liberal arts college in Central New York, honored the class of 2013 on May 18, 2013. Mollie C. Staretorp, of Milford, N.H., earned a Associate in Science degree summa cum laude in individualized studies .
• Eric Neilson from Milford, NH was named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven for the spring 2013 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

The following local residents made the Dean's List for Spring 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology:

• Valerie Magri of Milford, N.H., (03055) is a third-year student in the game design and development program in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.

• Emi Sano of Milford, N.H., (03055) is a fourth-year student in the film and animation program in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

• Daniel Sinkiewicz of Milford, N.H., (03055) is a fifth-year student in the electrical engineering program in RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

• Michael Wezalis of Milford, N.H., (03055) is a fifth-year student in the computer science program in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.
