Here is everything you need to know about the March 28 town and school elections in Milford, New Hampshire.

MILFORD, NH — Voters in Milford go to the polls on March 28 to make decisions about town and school budgets as well as political positions, warrant articles, and other issues.

Voting

Voting will occur from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Milford High School, 100 West St.

Voters in town have one competitive race.

Five candidates are seeking two three-year seats: Chris Buchanan, David Freel, Chris Labonte, James Powers, and Vanessa Sheehan.

For cemetery trustee, Daniel Sadkowski is running for a single three-year seat.

Robert Costantino is seeking a three-year seat as the checklist supervisor.

David Delay is seeking a five-year seat as the checklist supervisor.

Two candidates are running for three-year library trustee seats: John Yule and Lynn Coakley.

One candidate is seeking a three-year water-wastewater commissioner seat: Robert Courage.

Town voters will consider a wastewater treatment for $23.95 million.

An operating budget of $17.3 million will be considered. If not approved, a default budget of $17 million will be approved.

Several zoning amendments, reserve fund transfers, and other financial questions will also be on the ballot.

School Info, Races

Voters have a competitive school board race this year.

Four candidates are seeking two three-year seats: Amy Clark Canty, Gary Daniels, James Power, and Judi Zaino.

Rose Marie Evans is also seeking the one-year school district treasurer.

Voters will consider a $2.7 million bond to renovate the Bales Building.

Town voters will also consider a $46.1 million operating budget for the school district or a default budget of $45.6 million.

A school district collective bargaining agreement for education personnel will also be considered.
