Nashua Community College offers classes for every learning style

NEW THIS FALL

Starting this fall, NCC will have a new Mazda Pathway in the 2-year Automotive Technology associate degree. This means students will access Mazda-specific training, and network with Mazda dealers prior to graduation. A new pre-nursing pathway begins this fall for students who are interested in nursing, but need extra time before diving into the two-year ASN program, “The Health Science Pre-Nursing Pathway allows students the chance to complete their prerequisites, general education and elective courses prior to entering the nursing program,” said Mackenzie Murphy, and enrollment specialist at NCC. “The pathway also allows the opportunity to be given priority acceptance into the nursing program as long as students follow the course sequence, maintain at least a 2.8 CGPA, earn acceptable TEAS scores, provide references, and complete all other nursing admission requirements. Once students are accepted into nursing, they can then focus their time and energy on their nursing courses and clinicals so they can be as successful as possible and prepare for their career in nursing.”

The FAA-approved Aviation Technology associate degree and certificate is back after a brief hiatus. Aviation Technology prepares students for professional careers in aviation maintenance. Graduates can seek employment with airlines, fixed base operators, or aircraft manufacturers.

CAREER TRAINING

NCC has the latest career training to match industry demands and lead to lucrative careers. New sessions for the 100% remote Front and Back End Coding Boot Camps begin this fall, as well as the 26-week remote Big Data Developer program, remote Digital Marketing Boot Camps, the 10-week Microelectronics Boot Camp, and Accelerated Degree Pathways in Data Analytics, Business, Early Childhood Education, and more.

ADULT LEARNERS

Learn about the benefits of enrolling in Accelerated Lifelong Learning (ALL) to fit a full-time class schedule around full-time work, family and other responsibilities. Using a blend of online and evening courses, ALL students can earn a degree in 20 months or certificate in 10 months. Adult learners with existing college credit, work or military experience can take a Prior Learning Assessment to get closer to graduation before they even enroll in ALL.
