Manchester Woman Seriously Injured When Car Crashes Into A Truck

MILFORD, NH - Milford fire and police, and Milford Ambulance responded to a call for an accident on Route 101 between the on/off ramps to Rt. 101A and the Amherst Town line Thursday.

While crews were en route, they were advised of one person with serious injuries. Responders arrived just after 8 a.m. and found a passenger car with significant damage and a truck carrying a roll-off dumpster.

Milford Police Captain Craig Frye said a 2022 Kia, being operated by Brandy Lawrence, 30 Manchester, traveled west on RT 101 in the area of the off-ramp to 101A. Lawrence crossed the double yellow line side swiping a commercial truck, 2020 TK-T370 driven by Luis Amadeo, 59 from Temple NH.

Both drivers were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Lawrence suffered serious injury and Amadeo has been treated and released.

Milford Police requested New Hampshire State Police Troop G, the commercial truck enforcement division, to the scene. Amherst Police also assisted at the scene.

The area of Route 101 between the Amherst Town line and the on/off ramps to Rt. 101A was closed for approximately three and a half hours as a result of the accident.
