Victim Of Milford Fire Identified By New Hampshire State Fire Marshal
Patrick Walsh of Milford died during a fire at a home on Leisure Way on Friday. He worked at the Bonneville car dealership in Manchester.
MILFORD, NH — The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal has identified the victim of a fatal fire on Leisure Way in Milford on Friday.
Patrick Walsh, 65, of Milford, died of smoke inhalation during the fire. The manner of death was accidental. Sean Toomey, the state fire marshal, said the investigation of the fire's origin and cause were still active by Milford firefighters, police, and the state.
According to his obituary, Walsh worked at the Bonneville car dealership in Manchester for the past 15 years — "and helped many customers buy the car of their choice." He was born and raised Winchester, Massachusetts, graduating from Winchester High School in 1975. Walsh attended Fryeburg Academy in Maine and the College of Boca Raton in Florida. He enjoyed playing tennis and skiing.

Toomey reminded residents of the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home.
“In the event of an alarm activation or visible smoke or fire, immediately exit your home and call 9-1-1,” he said. “Keep exits clear and accessible at all times and have a home fire escape plan.”
