The craziest write-in votes from last week's general election in Milford.

Our elections are a very serious business, but one cannot help but appreciate the creativity some people put into their write-in candidates.
Patch went through the list of write-in candidates from last week’s general election in Milford to find the more interesting choices written on the ballots.
Ron Paul and Gary Johnson got the most write-in votes for president with a total of 20 ballots cast for the candidates. They had plenty of competition from the likes of Hillary Clinton, Daffy Duck, Robb Stark and even Jesus.

Oddly enough, one confused voter put Mitt Romney down as a write-in candidate. It might have been a good idea to give that ballot another glance because I am pretty sure he was already on there. Maybe they just didn’t like his choice of Paul Ryan for vice president, maybe he agrees with the guy who wrote Chris Christie in this year.
Three hopeful voters longed to see John Lynch return to the corner office.

How about The Hulk for Executive Councilor? Maybe you would like Clint Eastwood or Deputy Dog as your sheriff?
Fans of children’s television and political controversies will appreciate the addition of Big Bird to the state senator’s race. He may have trouble beating the beloved Peter Rabbit, Bart Simpson or the Hylian hero Link from the Legend of Zelda games.
Popular candidate Mickey Mouse trumped them all with a total of three write-in voters for state senator. Of course, Vermin Supreme received a few votes again this year.
Donald Trump wiggled his way into politics again and was chosen to be the County Treasurer by a very interesting New Hampshirite.
One voter felt like they could fill the role of Register of Deeds and expressed that fact by writing “Me” on the ballot. That is a bit more specific than the many “No Name” and “Anyone But” candidates that littered the results.
I did not write in any candidates this year, but wouldn’t mind adding my vote for Captain Awesome as County Commissioner...
