1. Nashua Garden Club Meets Tonight: Considering fall bulbs? Not sure about overwintering your dahlias? Want to try worm composting this winter? Great questions to bring with you to the Nashua Garden Club monthly meeting, tonight at 7 - 9 p.m., First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH.

2. Idol Chatter: If you're still watching "American Idol," then you probably already know the new celeb judge line-up is as follows: Keith Urban, back in the saddle again; J-Lo, aka Jennifer Lopez, hoping her third season is a charm after taking a year off; and Harry Connick Jr., who has served as a mentor in past seasons. If you're not still watching then you've probably already moved on to the next item. So be it.
3. Workshop Cancelled: The Nashua Regional Planning Commission Workshop previously scheduled for Sept. 5 has been postponed, date TBA.
4. Don't Get Mad; Get Twitter: This guy is making news after paying an undisclosed amount of money for a "Promoted" Tweet on Twitter, bashing British Airways, after they lost his dad's luggage. Some believe this is the next trend in consumerism. Read on.
5. New Starbucks Coming to Nashua? That's what Union Leader reporter Kim Houghton has learned, in a preview of this week's Planning Board meeting, set for 7 p.m. on Sept. 5 – you can read the agenda here. The popular coffee shop may be moving in to where Pier 1 is currently located on DW Highway, which may be relocating. After all, there's lots of prime real estate for the taking in Nashua these days.
