2. iTunes Radio Aims to Please: For those of you who've tried Pandora and Spotify, you may want to check out the new Apple Radio, due out this week, which is supposed to be the bomb diggity when it comes to Internet radio options, thanks to human programmers and astute algorithms. 3. Target Shooting for the Blind: In Iowa, lawmakers are debating the wisdom and safety of allowing blind citizens to pack heat. This short YouTube news story includes an informative video, about the lack of understanding surrounding blind people and gun safety. Of course, Paralympic shooting fans already know that there's a classification for visually impaired target shooters. So what's the big whup?
4. The Rising Cost of Food Allergies: A new study published this week in the journal JAMA Pediatrics, is the first to add up costs for the estimated 8 percent of U.S. children with allergies to peanuts, milk, eggs and other foods. The study, based on surveys of 1,643 parents, puts the total cost to the nation at nearly $25 billion a year. That's a lot of (gluten-free) dough. Read on.
