
Nashua Police are investigating an armed robbery early Thursday morning at the Motel 6, 77 Spitbrook Road.
According to Nashua Police Lt. Frank Sullivan, at about 1 a.m. police responded to the Motel 6 where a man had attempted to rob the clerk.
Sullivan said that the robber demanded money, and that the clerk immediately picked up the phone to call police, which caused the robber to flee the lobby on foot without taking any cash.
Sullivan said the robber indicated he was armed and may have had a firearm, but that has not been confirmed.
The robber is described as a white male, about 5-foot-6, 150 pounds, with brown hair, wearing a dark blue hoodie, jeans or canvas pants, brown shoes and a red bandanna over his face.
According to emergency alerts, police dogs were used to track the robber behind the motel, but he was not located.
