Attempted Murder Charge For Nashua Man After Stabbing: Police
Police said David Rodriguez, of Nashua, stabbed a man in the neck in Manchester.

NASHUA, NH -- A Nashua man was arrested Sunday morning after police said he stabbed a man in the neck in Manchester. David Rodriguez, 39, was charged with attempted murder, assault and assaulting a police officer. The victim was hospitalized and expected to survive, police said.
The stabbing happened Sunday at about 12:30 a.m. in the Elm Street area downtown. Manchester Police Lt. Timothy Patterson said the 31-year-old victim flagged down officers on patrol after being stabbed. Officers treated him and caught up with Rodriguez, who fled on foot, according to Patterson.
Officers tracked Patterson to Willow Street near the Valley Street Jail and he was taken into custody, Patterson said.

Rodriguez was held in custody pending an arraignment Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
