Call for Art Submissions for 'N is for Nashua'
Symphony NH's fundraising book project needs your best visual aids. Deadline is Aug. 1.

"N is for Nashua," a Symphony NH fundraising alphabet book project featuring Nashua cultural and historic landmarks, is crowd-sourcing your best ideas. The book will be both an ongoing fundraiser and a tool to share the rich tapestry of Nashua’s culture, aimed at unifying the greater Nashua community.
So far, the letter by letter list has been settled, thanks to your suggestions (see below).
Now, they need great ways to illustrate the featured people, places and things. That's where you come in. An open call is out for submissions to artists and photographers of all ages. There's no restriction on the medium, so get creative, and get busy.

Here are the details about making a submission:
- No restrictions on medium used
- Artists of all ages are encouraged to participate
- Submissions may come in the form of a high-quality .jpeg, .pdf, or by dropping the piece off in person (6 Church Street in downtown Nashua).
- The deadline for submissions in August 1, 2013
- Winning pieces will be featured at a silent auction at the Symphony NH concert in November (11/23/13), where 50% of the proceeds will go the Symphony NH and the remaining 50% will go to the artist
The committee of judges includes:

- Bonnie Guercio, Local Artist / Arts Advocate / Nashua Arts Commission

- Nick Adams, Director of Operations for Symphony NH
